What is reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a resistance-based machine — the reformer — using springs, straps and a sliding carriage to add controlled resistance to every movement. It builds long, lean strength while being gentle on the joints.
At KARVE we’ve taken that foundation further with Transformer Pilates: our signature 50-minute class layers strength training and mindful movement over the reformer fundamentals, finishing with breathwork to reset and restore.

Yes. The resistance is fully scalable and our trainers tailor each movement to your level, so reformer Pilates is ideal for beginners as well as experienced members. New clients arrive a few minutes early for a short introduction and safety briefing.
How long is a class?
Every KARVE class is 50 minutes — a complete, efficient full-body workout that fits around a busy London schedule.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable activewear you can move in and bring grip socks (available to purchase in studio). Water is recommended; everything else is provided.
How often should I do reformer Pilates?
Two to four sessions a week is a great rhythm for building strength and seeing results, but even once a week delivers real benefits. Our memberships and class packs are built around whatever cadence suits you.
